Ведущий пригласил парочку, написавшую книжку "The Confidence Code: The Science and Art of Self-assurance — What Women Should Know".

А теперь берём и представляем себе мужика типа меня, которому как-то тоже стыдно с 60-70 процентами готовности просить повышения, более крутого проекта или пытаться устраиваться на работу на уровень через один выше имеющегося (VP, CTO, etc).
А что меня никто не жалеет и мне никто не устраивает какую-нибудь affirmative action или повышения квалификации в области bullshit art, в которой, согласно этому триалогу(?), мужики — чемпионы? Я же вроде тоже minority, причём в более постыдном положении, так как к женщинам привыкли относиться со снисхождением, привыкли к их робости на работе, а от меня по точно такой же привычке ожидается противоположное, что я super-mega-hyper alpha-cubed macho-man. Вот нам говорят be a man, но при этом ни черта не учат как собственно be. Если вовремя не нахватался, то oops.
А то можно подумать, что только женщины ущемляются, мучаются со стереотипами и дискриминацией и страдают от робости и неуверенности.
